Well you have come to the right place to find out more about us here at Spirit Connections . I have certainly come along way in the past few years, not to mention, having been awakened with a loud "bang".
Since early childhood years I have had a gift of communicating with my spirit friends as I call them. I remember having invisible friends to talk to and always had a somewhat decent conversation going on in my head that I was never quite sure whether it was me or them!? Then one evening something happened to change my life. This was indeed just one of the many incidents which affected my life irretrevably.
My mother and I were staying at a beautiful old Guest House at Katoomba and whilst my mother was mixing with all the other parents who were staying there, I and a group of other teenagers were down in the basement holding a seance. Having a wonderful time filled with the historical atmosphere, the darkness, the candle light and the anticipation of being scared silly, it was a huge surprise to hear a name that few people called me in my life-time. It was a message from my still living Uncle who was in England at the time. The message I now understand was from one of my Spiritual Friends who called oneself - Zen, and I was given this message to relay to my mother that my aunt was having a baby girl. The name of this baby girl was Tammy and that my aunt was having a bad time with the birth. All this happened a long time ago back in the school holidays and it happens to be very close to the time of my cousin's birthday. As my Uncle had not been heard from for many months we immediately rushed home to tell my grand mother and within another two months had the substatiation that we wanted. I could indeed now say I finally had a cousin!
Being aware that I could "pick-up on vibes" was something that I became aware of more and more as I grew older. There were times when I "knew" things would happen, or had happened and that I was sensitive enough to feel and sense the various energies of ghostly entities that were around. I have since been able to develop my gift into a talent to where I am today.
I have been most fortunate that my "Medium" gift is a natural one and even my gift of "reading" has developed most naturally from the very first day I picked up the Arthurian Tarot Cards to this day. It is my belief that it came from my Great Grandmother who used to read the playing cards, when I "saw" a vision of her from her gravesite along with seven tarot cards. When I had interpreted each of these tarot cards, I knew then that I was able to read the cards.
It is by no accident that each event in our lives unfolds to open up and show us the talents we each have. For some of us, we "shoo" them away hoping that we won't have to deal with them whilst for others we embrace them gratefully acknowledging who we really are. I am grateful that I had the support of my family around me when I was "awakening..."
